MORE

Coney Island, NY native yet bona fide Florida girl, soprano Corinne Bach (pronounced "kor-in"!) began singing and writing in early childhood, with the influence of her mom's beautiful voice and literary background and her dad's guitar-playing and songwriting. It is indeed in the bloodline; her ancestral relation to the great composer must have some influence! Corinne's passion for and training in languages (Spanish, French, Italian, Hebrew, German, Polish, Russian, Latin, Somali, Portuguese, and of course English -- thanks Mom!), her formal music education, and her classical vocal training soon catapulted her into a successful stage and touring career.

"In my youth I sang in musicals, pop bands, and choruses, and when I excitedly got accepted into opera programs and music schools, I realized what opera meant to me; I knew if I had the right approach to it, opera wouldn't seem intimidating. It could be accessible to anyone and not just the 'elitists'. That's when I began calling my style of singing Popera.".

Corinne has been compared to a young Lena Horne when singing jazz, to Sarah Brightman in musical productions, to Celine Dion in her pop voice, and to Kiri Te Kanewa in her opera performances... but her versatility and unique approach to vocal performance gave her the freedom to create her own brand of singing, which ultimately took her around the world.

Corinne has toured to hundreds of cities throughout the US, Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa, and South America. She has sung with Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman, and Maestro Anton Coppola, among other musical heavyweights, and has performed dozens of leading and supporting roles in theatrical and operatic performances to rave reviews.

Classically-trained with a contemporary flair and singing in multiple languages, Corinne's unique approach to singing is with a pop edge...a.k.a. Popera... Easily maneuvering between multiple genres to customize virtually any show, she packs a wallop with exciting renditions of adult contemporary, jazz standards, musical theater favorites, and opera "hits".

Inspired by her travels and her passion for languages, religion, and world culture, Corinne’s EP, In Circles, broadens the spectrum of artistry and ingenuity in the Neo-Classical/New Age genre and celebrates cultural diversity: it's where world music meets opera! Released in late 2013, In Circles is available worldwide on iTunes, Amazon, in select stores, and at her shows.

Her debut EP includes her namesake J.S. Bach's "Ave Maria", "La Vie en Rose", "Un bel di" from Puccini's Madama Butterfly, and "Windmills of Your Mind", with a music video now on Youtube.

Corinne is an award-winning songwriter and is seen in films, on magazine covers, and in nationally-televised shows & performances.

When Corinne is not traveling and performing, she enjoys teaching voice, writing, reading, scuba diving, exercise, volunteering, and enjoying the beautiful Florida climate.
